Age & Entry

What ages does ChildsBridge accept?

+

ChildsBridge currently has learning pathways from ages 6–8 through the CodeSprout programme, and additional technology programmes for older children and teenagers. Each programme page shows its recommended age range.

Age & Entry

Does my child need previous coding experience?

+

No. Several ChildsBridge programmes are designed for beginners. Learners with previous experience are also assessed based on their current ability so they can start at an appropriate level.

Programme Selection

How do I know which programme is right for my child?

+

Start with your child’s age, current coding experience and interests. CodeSprout is designed for ages 6–8, Web Development builds practical coding foundations, AI Software Architecture introduces modern system design, and the one-year Agentic AI programme provides a deeper progression into intelligent systems.

Classes

Are classes live or pre-recorded?

+

ChildsBridge programmes are built around guided live learning, practical exercises and project work. Supporting resources may also be provided, but the learning model emphasizes active instruction, practice and feedback.

Classes

How often do students practise?

+

Practice is part of the learning design. Students are expected to repeat exercises, improve weak areas and apply skills in projects instead of simply completing a lesson once.

Devices

What device does my child need?

+

For most programmes, a laptop or desktop computer is strongly recommended because students need to type code, use development tools and build projects. A stable internet connection is also important for live classes and online tools.

Devices

Can my child use a tablet or phone?

+

A phone or tablet may be useful for communication or viewing resources, but it is not ideal as the main learning device for coding. A computer gives students access to tools such as VS Code, browsers, GitHub and development environments.

Projects

Do students build real projects?

+

Yes. Project-based learning is central to ChildsBridge. Depending on the programme, students may build websites, games, AI assistants, automation workflows, APIs, agent systems and capstone projects.

Projects

Can parents see examples of student work?

+

Yes. The Student Projects page showcases selected, approved work. Public examples are presented carefully to avoid exposing unnecessary personal information about young learners.

Curriculum

Can I download the curriculum before or after applying?

+

The public programme pages show the learning roadmap. A downloadable curriculum is available through the curriculum access system after an application has been submitted and verified using the application reference and parent or guardian email.

Curriculum

Will the curriculum change as technology changes?

+

Some tools and implementation details may evolve because technology changes quickly. However, ChildsBridge keeps the core learning outcomes, progression and mastery goals stable.

AI

Is AI appropriate for children to learn?

+

AI can be taught responsibly when the focus is on understanding, problem-solving, safe tool use and human oversight. ChildsBridge introduces AI concepts progressively rather than treating AI as a shortcut that replaces thinking.

AI

Will AI do the work for the student?

+

No. Students are expected to understand, explain and improve the work they submit. AI may be used as a learning or engineering tool, but the learner must still reason through the problem and demonstrate understanding.

Mastery

What happens if my child struggles with a topic?

+

The ChildsBridge model encourages repetition and guided correction. Learners can revisit difficult concepts and practise again before moving into more advanced work.

Assessment

How is progress measured?

+

Progress is demonstrated through completed exercises, practical challenges, project quality, problem-solving, explanation of work and increasing independence. The goal is meaningful competence rather than simply finishing content.

Certificates

Do students receive certificates?

+

Programme completion certificates can be awarded when students meet the relevant completion and project requirements. Certificates are intended to recognise completed learning rather than replace practical evidence of skill.

Admissions

How do I apply?

+

Use the ChildsBridge Apply page, enter the student and parent or guardian details, select a programme and submit the application. A unique application reference is created for the admission process.

Admissions

What happens after I submit an application?

+

Your application is recorded for review. You can continue the admission conversation through the configured ChildsBridge contact channels, and your application reference can be used to access the selected curriculum.

Support

What if I still have a question?

+

Use the Contact page to send a message. If the ChildsBridge admissions WhatsApp number is configured, you can also continue your enquiry directly on WhatsApp.
